Probably a simple thing, but I'm a bit rusty on Vmix. Can anyone help?
I want to overlay a series of PNG text files (with transparent background) for a worship song. I have about 40 of these slides.
I've created a background image that combines a video and a static coloured image. This stays in the background as I change the slides.

I can't figure out how to have each slide appear ON TOP of the background video, except hitting the overlay button on each slide.
I want to programme it as a playlist to get the timing perfect.

What should my approach be, the simplest way to do this? I suppose I could create a multiview input, then duplicate it 40 times, and go in, changing the top layer of each multiview. This seems a rather silly approach though?

Help a brain-fried brother out?

Use multiview to put the PNG over the background for each shot. Then assemble the shots into a playlist. No way to time them all precisely, so use manual advance and follow the song as it plays.

Just figuring it out now - that multiview method maybe seems a little convoluted, unless I misunderstand.

What I've come up with is a key command for overlay 1.
Then I just import all the PNG images, in numbered order, and click the image input, tap the 1 key, and it appears as an overlay.
Then I click the next image to prep it, and tap 1 when I want that to replace the previous slide as the new overlay.
If I want no slide, I have set Q key to be the remove all overlays function.
