I'm looking at the AT&T Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router for some Facebook live video that's out in the country. I was wondering if anyone has used the device and if it worked OK for them. My son and I do video for a truck and tractor pulling group. We usually just mount his cell phone on his video camera but wanted to try to upgrade our coverage. I can't rent this or get it on a trial basis. AT&T says I can buy and try it and then I can return it if I don't like (for a restocking fee).

Here's my son's YouTube page (with tractor pulling videos). He's autistic but loves the sport.
Turbocharged Pulling Videos

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks! The area we usually pull at (where we want to use this) has around 2 to 3 bars of coverage. Do you think it's enough to use this router with VMix?

What bitrate are you planning on transmitting? Have you performed an internet speedtest on AT&T at this location? If so, what is your upload bandwidth?

I use the H264 720p 1.5 mbps AAC 128kbps setting on our Sunday Night show. I've got no clue on my upload speed in the field. I'll have to check at our next pull.
