Shortcut templates for 2nd Midi device - How can I save template for second midi device

I'm using an X-Keys 128 and an xkey 80 interface. When I go to Export shortcuts under templates, it's only showing a picture of my first device (the 128). How do I know if its exporting the shortcuts for the Channel 2 device as well? I don't wont blow away many hours of work to find that it didn't export the shortcuts for 2nd device.

Also, I get the impression that shortcuts are independent of presets. Meaning each preset file doesn't save the shortcut file as part of the preset. Is that right?

Concerning the shortcuts...

Only the shortcut keys assigned as local are saved with a preset.

In the help file under Presets you can read what and what's not saved.
