I am getting a GPU Overload message on loading. I am not using any inputs at the moment. I have a ROG i7 laptop with a 1060 Graphics card. I have uploaded to support my error log.
Please can you help I have never been able to get VMix to work on this laptop on a job only in the office on test.

OK I think I might have a reason for the issues. I noticed that I was getting a GPU overload but at the time I was running on battery and not on mains power. I will have to experiment to see if this happens again. Is there a way to run VMix on the laptop battery power only, I understand that it won't last long.

Make sure that you check your power settings in Windows. Many laptops by default are set to lower or turn off more power hungry features when on battery power. You can change those settings in the power panel of Windows. Set it to maximum performance. Your laptop will die quicker, but you should get the full resources out of it as well.

Thanks, there was I thinking it would be something hard to find in the NVidia Control panel but of course just look at the windows power settings.

what's a good number for gpu memory? I'm hoping being at 90% means it's being used optimally and not on the brink of maxing out :/
