For some reason I have no "reply" option in the forum,so here is a new post.

I know I have contacted you directly by email about the update, but in the bottom of vmix this morning it said update available.
I selected update (It was early..hardly awake)and because I purchased more than 1 year ago, it locks you out of vmix with registration error.
Surely update should be disabled (or at least a warning)for people that would be required to pay for the update.
I don't mind buying an update, its just I did not want to do it just yet...why lock a user out of vmix after an update?

Hi Quinton,

Apologies, this was a bug in the update system, which should now be fixed.
It is supposed to only alert those who can get a free update, but did not if you weren't already on the latest 21.

How do I go back to v 21? I thought it was a maintenance release when it said "update available", but now V22 installed over my v21 version so my "key" wont reactivate and your system wants me to pay for an upgrade. This should have been noted as step one...not after it installs. :(
