Hi! I've been using vMix about two years on a GTX970 without any issue. Recently I've bought a DELL Vostro 3568, (in order to manage titles through NDI for the main PC). This laptop has double graphics card:

Intel UHD 620 (integrated on CPU)
Radeon 520 2GB (dedicated)

I'm using the radeon on Adobe Premiere with no issues, but I'm not able to make the radeon work with vMix. If I enable NDI on the DELL laptop (send titles to the main PC), open any input (like NDI from main PC) and try to stream to e.g. youtube, the video is frame lossing, and the CPU near 100%. Obviously, the Radeon GPU stays at 0% load.

Any idea? Any help would be appreciated. :)

P.S.
Radeon drivers updated.
Radeon is not detected at performace settings on vMix.
VMix 4K license.
vMix on latest version (21.0.0.60)

Don't take my word for it but I don't think Radeon is listed as recommended hardware. I've only ever heard them recommend GTX graphics cards.

BBL is correct. vMix is designed to take advantage of NVIDIA GTX GPUs (take a look at the vMix Reference Systems builds).

Have you run vMix Diagnostics Utility? Maybe there is a program interfering with vMix.

Thanks for answering! I know radeon cards are not recommended, but I thought that between not recommending them and not working there was a stretch, hence my question. I think it may be more a configuration problem or driver discovering from vMix than a real incompatibility.
I'm not looking for impressive performance, I just want it to work a little better than with integrated intel.
Thanks again!

Even though ATI cards are not recommended, I have always built PCs using Sapphire Radeon cards and never had any issues with them..All systems worked flawless, and I find Radeon drivers very stable....maybe Martin should try building around both cards....I have had many issues with nVidia drivers in the past, and that is why I use ATI cards never an issue.....but maybe there is something else causing your issue
