Hi All,
I have been using Google Sheets for quite a number of projects and this is a problem that has troubled me every time. Some of the time when a user updates the spreadsheet to updates instantly in vMix and without issue, But a lot of the time I get this error:
ERROR: the remote server returned an error: (429) Too Many Requests.
Could I have missed something with the api or setting something up incorrectly to get this so frequently?
Thanks

I seem to remember that there was an issue with Google sheets and high volumes of transactions. Do a search on this forum.

It is not an "issue" it is by design to limit "free" account's requests. In your Google API console it says, how much requests you can make per day/100s. Also, each sheet will get seperate requests. For example, you have 5 sheets in a single spreadsheet document and you update it every 1000ms, it will make out to 5 requests per second.
You can easily upgrade to higher number of allowed requests. Check in the Api Console and Sheets API - Quotas.
