I just had a slight panic prepping for a job when my machine refused to record Prores.

I kept getting the message 'raw video format not supported'.

After some head scratching I checked the secondary recorder which was indeed set to a lossless format BUT the enable box was unticked.

I tried changing the secondary record to mp4 and still got the error message.

Then restarted the machine and it recorded Prores fine.

I don't really want to mess with the machine to try to recreate the problem at the moment, sorry.
