There is a new version of the Elgato Camlink. HDMI-inputs up to 4k/30p are now supported. Its announced that interlaced inputs will also work with this new version, but I have not tested this yet. Works fine with vmix 4k, latency is very low, seems to be similar to the older Camlinks. I use this with an Acer v 15 Nitro BE, Sony PXW X-70 or Panasonic UX 180 @ UHD in an one camera Setup with cropped virtual inputs, and an Elgato Stream Deck for switching. With the older version and the Acer v15 it was possible to use 2 Camlinks side by side @ 1080p, I try this with the new ones @ 4K soon. A great high mobility solution for streaming @ 720p. https://www.elgato.com/de/gaming/cam-link-4kgreets Martin

Kinda wish I had a 4K source to justify checking it out. I only have USB connected 4K sources at present (Logitech Rally & Brio.)

Did a new test... 2 Camlinks HD @ USB 3 and 1 Camlink 4K at the Thunderbolt 3 port (adapted to USB 3.1) with virtual inputs.. worked without issues about 2,5 hours... This setup has also been tested with the Camlink 4k @ USB 3, one Camlink HD @ USB 3 and an BM Mini Recorder 4K in an Akitio Node Lite @ TB 3. That gave me two 4K and one HD input. Unfortunately, the Akitio needs to be AC-powered and the TB3 functionality of my notebook needs also AC-power too to work. So the Camlinks seem to be the right stuff for high-mobility, power in-depended and very affordable streaming - setups. Early in January, i hope to get another Camlink 4K, so i can try a setup with 2 4K`s and one HD. greets Martin https://ibb.co/F6FL2WQ

Wow! This thing seems to be 1/3 the price of just about anything else like it on the market that does 4K! Could be a game-changer!
Best,
Ben
