I'm a new user. Using vMix on a laptop running Windows 10 with specs that meet the requirements.

I'm using a Yuan PD570 Pro HDMI capture device, and running a Canon XA10 for video. For audio, I'm running the outputs from the sound board via XLR cables into a PreSonus AudioBox USB for the audio.

It isn't clipping, and there's no pop in the house speakers, but in the Facebook live stream, the audio keeps clicking/popping.

Help?

What about when you monitor with headphones directly out of the PreSonus?

Does your laptop have both USB 3.0/3.1 and USB 2.0? If so, what happens if you plug the PreSonus into a USB 2.0 port?

Yes, I do have both. Honestly, I feel a little silly bc I didn't even think to try one of the 2.0 ports. Will try that and report back. Thanks for the suggestion!

You might need a buffer somewhere.. we had the same from camera to computer, video with audio takes a bit more encoding (i thought it was strange the video could get through cleanly but the audio struggled but thats why)

Check your ASIO drivers and ASIO buffers. When set too low (lower latency), clicks and pops are prone to happen.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm super new to all this. When you say "add a buffer," what exactly do you mean?

Is this a setting I would change in vMix or somewhere else?

Thanks!

As Guillaume said. It's the ASIO driver that you need to adjust. Nothing in vMix.

Forgiven! it's just the delay you want to add in the settings of your camera inputs that are popping, you add it in milliseconds 1000 = 1 sec
