On my GoPro Hero 4 I'm wondering if it's possible to get video from it for NDI. I'll be producing a basketball game and it will be nice to have these camera for some static shots.

I would recommend looking at Marshall cameras which is meant for this. GoPros need expensive accessories to achieve the same as the Marshall cameras provides out of the box.

Cheers.

You can certainly get video from a GoPro Hero 3 via HDMI, and power it via a USB cable. I used one every day at IBC a couple of years ago for an early demonstration of software encoding NDI using a capture card (on the Magewell booth).
According to the GoPro site, "You will generally see about a 2-3 frame delay when using HDMI live preview" on the Hero 4.
