hello, following the FAQ at: https://www.vmix.com/kno...-transport-stream-or-udp

i managed (quite ...) to stream an mpeg2 transport stream to an external device using the ffmpeg application in the streaming folder of vmix.

the command i run (in that folder) is:
ffmpeg.exe -f dshow -i video="vMix Video" -f dshow -i audio="vMix Audio" -c:v mpeg2video -b:v 20M -r 25 -async 1 -c:a mp2 -f mpegts udp://linux_encoder_ip:18000

but on remote site (i check with avplay://@18000) i can see only a color bar video with no audio ....

what am i doing wrong?

PS: vmix is with external enabled (black magic) and a video (with audio) was running in PGM out .....

Activate EXTERNAL!!!

if you want to outpput your PGM to FFMPEG externally you don't need to go thru external rendering, just external

mhh, my SD version has only 1 external renderer, and i use it to render on black magic output. Can directshow still intercept that audio/video stream?
