Hello Everybody,

I'm using a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 On a Windows 7 machine.

By default it only records on the left side. I am trying to find a setting for the input to force it to record on both the left and right side -- in Mono.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

Ideally I would prefer to make this setting natively in my Windows computer. According to Mr. Google, Windows 10 allows me to force stereo recording to mono. But I don't see this feature on my Windows 7 machine.

Any suggestions, perhaps by someone who is using the UM2 for both channels on their Windows 7 vMix installation? Or a setting in vMix forcing mono to an auduio input?

Thanks

Hi Rowby,

Check out the Channel Matrix in the Audio Settings for your input - I think you'll find what you're after in there:

Thanks TFMG!

That did the trick.

I went in and checked all of the matrix. Sounds good and getting both tracks.

I will double check the documentation, but I guess it doesn't "hurt" to check all of the boxes.

I appreciate your quick reply. I had been trying everything -- virtual cables, voicemeeter, etc. Nothing seemed to do the trick.

So your forum post came in just in time!
