Hey everyone i'm new to vMix and i have created my own news ticker with a live logo and logo and i have got everything working apart of from the ticker as i have added text but when i click play it the text doesn't move can anybody help.

If the text aint moving accros it aint a ticker ;-)

No seriously , how are we supposed to know what the problem is based on "i have added text but when i click play it the text doesn't move"

If it is not working then it is not coded correctly , have you checked as example how the existig tickers are working (how the xaml is coded)?

I have looked at the other tickers to see how they have programmed but i can't see the exact info i'm looking for

It's in the "storyboard" part

I still don't understand how one can make something custom if one doesn't know how it works.
And why not modify an existing one rather than create one to start with ?

you can't create a ticker with the current editor , you need to manually code/modify the XAML file of the title or use Blend to visually program stuff in your title. The title editor is for static stuff , not animations ( ticker is a animation where a textblock that contains text moves accross

Understand you want to make your own , but then you need to know how to proces it first. There are various ways to code a ticker in XAML (Google can help you out on that)

of course using an existing ticker and combine (lyer) it with added graphics etc but thats not what OP was asking .
Furthermore "in title editor use... ticker.." is not possible as as far as my english is concerned it would have been "as input use a existing ticker" ;-)
