Hi everyone
I'm looking at a new high end streaming machine. Looking at having it built. Something along the obsidian line of things. Hoping to get some tips!
- How do people make sure the PC is safe for travelling to events? Especially so the graphics card doesn't put too much pressure on the motherboard with small bumps? - Does anyone know of a rack mount case that supports the graphic card securely, rather than the pcie slot only? - What's the best i9 compatible motherboard that has thunderbolt 3? - Can someone please explain the 4K SDI and HDMI capture cards... is there a card that can do 4 x 4K inputs/outputs simultaneously?
Thanks heaps!

This is how I built my setup. 1) Added additional supports (non-metallic, hot glued to Case and not Motherboard) under the motherboard. 2) Hot glued Ram holding clips. 3) PCI-E Cards are held in place by mounting screws, and at backend by support bar provided by case manufacturer in case. 4) Hot Glued PCI-E cards and any cables coming from Motherboard and on Case Also for extra security. After over 100 Pro Hockey Games over 2 years, and traveling across North America by Bus and Vehicles, still no issues. 1 Compact 4U Rackmount Case. 1 Rolling 4U Rolling Case. 2 manufacturers of capture cards Blackmagicdesign HDMI 4 x 4K60 NONE SDI 4 x 4K60 https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-31SDI 8 x 4K60 https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-30SDI 4 x 8K60 https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs/W-DLK-34Yuan HDMI 4 x 4K30 https://www.yuan.com.tw/products/capture/4k/sc560n4_hdmi.htmSDI 4 x 4K30 https://www.yuan.com.tw/products/capture/4k/sc560n4_sdi_6g.htmMotherboards I'm using in my next i9 build.. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X299-DESIGNARE-EX-rev-10#kfwaldron18 wrote:Hi everyone

Rackmount Cases need to have front and rear facing fans, as any other locations not a good solution, will still get some overheating issues in warm conditions. For custom case hardware. TCH Reliable Hardware
