Thanks, yes merge is what I use now. I just think the animated in from the side looks a bit slicker.

Then you have to use an Overlay and set its Effext to Slide.

Actually you can ;-) be it sliding in , zoom in/out etc
-create 2 (color) multiviews each with the 2 sources you want to "animate" - one with layer 1 small and layer2 to large - the other layer 1 larger and layer 2 smaler
basically one has a start situation and the other a finished one, merge between the 2

thats vMix Richard ;-)
and add a few extra layers say a background and one with a logo or so that grow into view as well etc , that was fun to find out to basically completely copy (and more) the example Anders showed

In post #24 in this thread, https://forums.vmix.com/...osts&t=11150&p=2Martin suggested a new shortcut that would do audio fades. The same shortcut type could be applied to set alpha, zoom, pan xy creating a keyframing system of sorts.

Just want to say, I've been using Doggy's style (sigh) for a good year+ now, and basically you can start doing some really cool things. I always put all my initial sources into vmix and then make a collection of them for this use.
You can get around Vmix protection features to do some extra stuff too, like not always having both sources active and whatnot.
So if I have 3 main sources, I'll put the three in and then make a new source on top of a transparent .PNG
Then I'll do all sorts of transitions which slide in and out and even use the 3D tilt/pan and such.
By using the .PNG you can do a mass zoom all at once without having to do each manually.
Also, it's easier to size everything this way.
