Hello people,

I have a Yuan card (the variant with DVI-I + SDI inputs) and I still can't figure out why sometimes there are video artifacts that makes the card encode with crazy bitrates (33000 to 94000 kb/s)?

I'm capturing at 1920x1080.

With driver and Codecs I was getting a file size of 731 MB per minute. The video source was a laptop connected over HDMI and although it is a digital signal, it has artifacts all over the picture that are probably causing the bitrate increase. This "noise" is very noticeable on the scroll bars:

I have a few other machines with the same card and driver version and it doesn't happen on all.

Now I have upgraded to driver and Codecs and it is gone. I'm using the same machine, the same laptop and cable, and it captures normally at an average 2940 kb/s bitrate (11 MB per minute).

The only difference I can find on the videos besides the bitrate, is that the video with artifacts is captured at 57,97 to 58,77 fps and the later video show static 60 fps.
