Barix Instreamer as Input Source

Hi Have a project where Barix Instreamer units will be used to encode an audio source onto a RTP stream on a local area network.
Has anyone had success or is it possible to pickup this stream as an Input Source in vMix? The only issue I am seeing is Barix quotes its formats as wither G.711, PCM or MP3 where as vMix is specifying AAC or H.264.
Thanks everyone

The easiest way to do this is create a player using the barix url, then just add the webpage to vmix...

Yes but will vMix be ok with the mp3 encoded stream from the Barix?

kjones9999's solution should work.
If you have Instreamer devices, do you also have a Barix Exstreamer unit?

Yes for testing purposes, but I don't desire using an Extreamer to feed the analogue audio in to Vmix, to me thats an antiquated and backwards solution.

Very true, that would be antiquated. Just wondering if you had an Exstreamer. I used to use Instreamers, Annuncicoms and Exstreamers years ago, but software solutions came along ending their use.

We've used them as standalone players on a few jobs where there was a desire for a non PC solution.
For jobs like this one I like to have one specced as a bit of a get out of jail card for when someone says the stream isn't sending so you can show the problem isn't on your end.

So the issue here is that you have MP3 audio that needs to be read by vmix, and that just does not occur natively. You could mux it with a blank video stream and add it as flash but thats way too much trouble.

I'll have the hardware this week and can test. I think the solution above of using a basic generated web page will probably achieve the goal.
