Hi,
I'm about do buy an decklink duo 2 for our church to upgrade our broadcast rig.
We are now using a single camera at 1080i to an Intensity pro to feed vmix, audio enters analog from the mix table also to the intensity analog connectors.
My question is, how can inject the audio usind the decklink without having to aquire expensive bdm hdmi to sdi converters with audio input?
Can i use the line in input of an xifi pci card on the pc? How about delay/out of sync issues?
Thanks in advance and God bless you all!

You can add a "audio input", which can be the internal soundcard or a usb interface. In the input settings you can set delay when needed to get everything in sync.

I understand that different lengths of sdi cable can produce different delays on cameras right? Can i set different delays for any camera? Thanks and God Bless!

And how about outputing? We stream to youtube at 1080p25, smoothly and i have an output set to the gpu(gtx 1050) to a external recorder and for a room monitor through hdmi, althought quite smooth it's not 100% fluid. Using the decklink output in your opinon can i achieve that?
Thanks

What you might experience, depending on the cameras used, is an internal processing delay within the camera whereby the SDI output is delayed relative to what is happening in front of the lens. Some DSLRs are quite bad for this sort of thing, for example, and even Blackmagic's own Ursa Mini Pro had about 2 or more frames delay (I think), although the most recent v4.5 firmware update is claimed to have reduced that to <1 frame.

I have installed the Decklink Duo 2,after strugling a lot with the instalation, replacing the intensity pro.
I was able to have my two cameras in Vmix. But i have an issue that i would like to know if anyone had the same.
After mapping the SDI connectors in the Desktop Video Utility, it works, and i receive the feed but after a reboot the mappings on the connectors revert to default and i have do it all over again.
Does anyone have experienced this?
Thanks

Thanks try updating the firmware / desktop video version... I use a couple of these without such issues, over windows 10 and latest BMD software.

Latest drivers, firmware updated and no joy. When i have the time, i will try with a clean windows instalalion. Thanks for the input. Best regards
