Hi,
I have windows 10 and Vmix 20 and so far I have not had any particular crashes. However, there is an audio problem when embed (web browser) video from Youtube: there is no audio. I used the "default windows playback device" configuration. Does it happen to you too? Do I have to put some command string to "enable" the audio? With Windows 8.1 and Vmix 19 I did not have this problem.
Thanks for your help.

Ciao,

Hi Alan

I just checked playing a YT video in a WebBrowser input: it works perfectly with audio.

Check if your audio options & routing is correct. The issue is definitely on your side.

Guillaume

Hi, Guillaume you confirm to have Windows 10 and Vmix 20? I have 2 computers one with windows 8.1 and Vmix 19 and it works perfectly. The video clips feel perfectly, I updated for scrupulous Adobe Flash player, I have two audio settings with realteck so i have no other possibilities. Audio works but not with the Web, will I be the only one to have this problem?
Thank you!

Merci!

Yes I tested with Windows 10 Pro 64 bits and vMix Pro 20.0.0.27.
FYI I believe vMix does not rely on Flash player for WebBrowser Input, as it is a Chromium embedded in vMix and I think it uses native HTML5 player from YT.

To make sure, just try another video from another OVP like vimeo for example or simply accessing a web radio via the WebBrowser input.

Another option is to use the RTMP input to play this YT video.

Cordiali saluti
Guillaume

Hi, Guillaume for the directions. Any web input: YT, radio, vimeo - vmix vumeter does not give any signs of life. You can kindly point me to the RTMP syntax (for example, I must embed this video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/Su6CJ55cXgA). I am an ultra-fifty-year-old newbie, so be patient!
Thanks again.

Merci encore.

OK I thought so, the audio is not related to YT or the WebBrowser input in vMix.
It's certainly that you forgot to click the M icon for this input audio or you're doing something wrong with audio routing on buses A & B.

Make sure to read the documentation for audio use and settings here : https://www.vmix.com/help20/Audio3.html

Or simply check you're doing the same as on Win8/vMix19 on this Win10/vMix20 computer...

You can PLAY any video from YouTube in vMix using the Flash/RTMP input type with this syntax :
http://www.youtube.com/v/VIDEO_ID
(for example http://www.youtube.com/v/4IhWsOqCWpc)

Hi, unfortunately I tried all possible audio configurations (I think). Is there anyone who has an Asus Notebook with Windows 10, where does audio with embeded web clips work?
Asus says it's not a problem for them, Windows says it's an Asus problem ........
Every help is appreciated!
Thank you

Solved!
Thanks to your directions, I focused the problem.
So, first I disable the drivers (windows 10 and asus do not allow you to uninstall the drivers!).
There is an Asus application called Sonic Suite 2, I have disabled this application at startup as well. I have reinstalled the drivers manually and finally everything works !!!
Thank you very much !

Thanks Martin for the time you've dedicated me!

in Italian:
Risolto!
Ho reinstallato i drivers manualmente e finalmente tutto funziona!!! Grazie veramente !

@ Matou

Glad you got it solved!
I am curious though about which drivers you actually had to remove and reinstall?

Hi, thanks to Martin's lines, which let me know where to go, I went to read Microsoft's instructions on how to uninstall - here:

https://answers.microsof...6-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5

I then went to the official site of Asus and downloaded the latest audio release.

Ciaoooo ;-)

Hello, Thanks everyone for the help, but I'm still unable to achieve that!
Using this embed code https://www.youtube.com/embed/8IQbF0IK-f4
Didn't show anything,

But using this one https://www.youtube.com/v/8IQbF0IK-f4
Showed the attached.

Using the simple Web Browser as YouTube input resulted in No Audio given (checked audio driver very well)

Please help!

Hi Alan, I have nothing technical to add except you are a lucky person, I spent a few weeks working in the Aosta Valley and it's beautiful.

No problems at all... open both links in vMix and when playing there is audio!

Hi, even to me it "seemed" that audio drivers were installed. Truly the update does not happen! Try not to cost anything, follow the microsoft instructions to uninstall audio drivers and install the latest version of your sound card. I've tried, now Vmix's Web Browser and it works. Let me know! Ciao

Fatemi sapere! Ciao
