Is this supported yet?

I'm sure I saw it under the supported hardware a few days ago but it now seems to be removed?

Thanks

Several people in the Streaming Idiots group on Facebook have tried it with good results. I expect one to be delivered in the next few days.

It is back on the site now, just doesn't currently support interlaced video in vMix.

Thanks vMix

Mine arrived today. Worked out-of-the-box with the current vMix v20 beta.

There are some notable considerations:

- Only supports progressive sources (no interlace)
- Only delivers YUY2, no MJPEG or H264.
- That last point implies that it requires it's own USB 3.0 hub connection, certainly for HD operation.
- Can't have more than one on the same USB 3.0 bus.

In general, it works as advertised. For a few dollar more, there are devices that have an on-board hardware scaling engine, handle interlaced sources, and deliver MJPEG or H264 encoding. In some cases, HDMI pass thru. These things make them more flexible. Very possibly worth the added cost.

OTOH, if your needs are known, unchanging, and quite simple, CamLink gets it done cheaply.

I use this one: http://www.ebay.de/itm/332056260471 since one year.
It works perfect with Vmix, is cheaper than any other solution and does interlaced video as well.
It also supports USB 2.0, but only up to 480i.
