Hi,
in the changelog of vMix 19.0.0.42 it says:
"* Fixed DataSource Format field reverting to {0} in edit window"
That's great to hear. But when I enter {0:00} or any other number format string, still nothing happens (i.e. should be zero-padded)?

Correct, it is a string format for prepending/appending text to an existing field. You can use formatting in an excel spreadsheet to format numbers for use by vMix Data Sources.

Hi Martin,
thanks for replying. But bare with me: if I use formatting outside of vMix and put "00" (even whith quotes) in a csv file it shows up as '0' inside vMix when connected via datasources manager. How do I zero pad then?

Have you ever found a solution to this? I have the exact same problem. I need 2 decimal places to show, and it always drops trailing 0's no matter what format string or original strings I have provided in the CSV so far. I also have an issue with a leading '+' being dropped.
I generate the CSV, so I could generate a different file type if it will help.
Data Examples: +5.01 in the CSV file results in 5.01 in the data source... -5.01 in the CSV results in -5.01 in the data source... 1:10.30 in the CSV file results in 1:10.3 in the data source.
