I have an Osprey 230 card which functions fine when used directly in AFLME.

on vMix 9.1.0.34, everything appears to be set up properly and working. However, when starting the External output, and then launching AFLME, there is no vMix audio shown. I see only the Osprey and Realtek (the board audio), neither of which are being used. There is vMix video available.

I have the Osprey card as a source in vMix and the associated audio and am using the latest drivers. It "installs" with the audio muted, regrdless of whether it is Program or not. Then sometimes the External wont start and I get this error : DeckLink.MM_New (decklink is NOT checked).

But the question is "where is my vMix audio for/in Flash"?

Ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

What version of Windows are you running? vMix Audio requires Windows 7 or higher.
If you are using Windows 7/8 try reinstalling vMix.

I have built a new box and installed a clean version of Window 8 and the 64 bit drivers for the Osprey 230 PCI-X.

Now I get no video in vMix although the Osprey card shows video as does AFLME if I use that. I do get audio in both vMix and/or AFLME. In fact, I can bring up the Osprey Input Device screen (i), go to Advanced, highlight the Osprey card properties, and use videocheck and see the video from within vMix. But no video on exit.

I have tried various combos of video resolution and format.

And I have tried the 32 and 64 bit versions of vMix.

Ideas?

I am documenting my own issue for others:

I was unable to get various vMix versions to work properly with my Viewcast Osprey 230 card (PCI) on several MS OSs. Issues included no External, no streaming, squirrely audio and no video. However the Osprey card always worked fine outside of vMix, as did AFLME.

vMix 9.1.0.35 works ~perfectly~ with my particular PC system and card if I use Windows 7 (Ultimate 64).

P.S. Windows 8 sucks! I'll never get that part of my life back....
