Hi, I'm a brand new user of vMix and I have a small problem. I'm using an external mixer (Allen & Heath ZED 12 FX) and want to bring my microphone into vMix. My mixer is connected via USB. vMix is seeing my microphone when I select Add Input > Audio Input. Volume meters are working. I'v followed the steps as described in http://www.vmix.com/help19/ but I just don't get any output in the Master or Recording. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help. Kind regards, Rudy Engels rudyengels attached the following image(s): Capture1.PNG (11kb) downloaded 3 time(s). Capture2.PNG (16kb) downloaded 2 time(s). Hi lucky Rudy! ;o)
simply click the M icon in your audio input. (M stands for Master) Your screenshots indicate that Buses A and B are not set.
Bien à toi Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,
I've just followed the steps in the manual but changing the icon from bus A to M seems indeed to work. Only problem i still have is that the audio level of the recording is very low while my levels in vMix and mixer are perfect... Still a lot to learn but it seems the audio part of VMix is not that easy when working with an external mixer...
Merci!
Rudy

Audio levels in vMix conform strictly to standards. I mean if your audio mixer outputs a -6 dB signal, vMix will receive -6 dB and stream or record -6 dB.
If your recording is low, the problem is either on your audio mixer or the way you mixed your audio input in vMix.
