Hi, This is my first try with MV. What can I do to make the changes between screens smoother. Right now I can see overlaps. It's a change between 3 MVs. I use the merge transition to give it a TV style. But something is missing... Please have a look and share you opinion. linkWitold

Any room for improvement? yt link Forget the triggers for now and understand the basics of merging with MV's first , the trigger situation is only there in case the order of the layers create a more like fade effect As i mentioned before for proper smooth merge transitions you need duplicates of your Multiview EACH containing ALL layers ( where in each MV these layers have different positions )

No you haven't Each MV same layers with same content with different positions , NOT inputs at different layers, extra layers and one can not start to mix and match different images Maybe basic example will make things a bit more clear with FILES.zip(small pic remaining are there for clarity of intention)

Ok I more or less get it. I want to switch between an MV with 3 small screens and 1 big screen. I have created virtual copies of the MV with a big screen with all layers. Now what do I do to change between a given image in the big screen MV and the MV with 3 small screens? It only works for me if I uncheck 2 of the 3 layers in the big screen MV. Otherwise the big screen shows the image at the highest layer. What do I do with the other layers that I don't need to show? Finally, Even when I uncheck the other 2 layers the merge is not smooth enough. In the output screen I can see how the layers overlap. Sorry to bother you but please have a look at this recording one more time. LINKWitold

ALL MV's youu want to merge between need to have their inputs to be the same and present and in same order ! Use a base background without those frames , add the frames to the people inputs ( direclty or layers) in the last video one can see that the "not used" inputs are reduced in size = are still there ( they were left smal still to make the change clear but can be as samll as one pixel or can move to outside the frame etc etc. is also how you can go from 3 on the side to 2 on the side for example Did you download the include .zip file in that recent post with video ? https://forums.vmix.com/posts/m99810-MultiView-not-smooth-enough#post99810DO NOT unscheck layers as they need to be active for proper merging zipfile.png (62kb) downloaded 0 time(s).Edit: added

Make them smaller like in the video example that was added (like zooming in /out) That's the point of merging -> animate a position change ! Quote:Quote: add the frames to the people inputs ( direclty or layers)
added as top layer now NO! to the individual inputs !Pls study the video's ! and the files i gave a link to !

no frames in MV? they should be added to people's images? Quote: Pls study the video's ! and the files i gave a link to !
I wish you had added a voiceover. It's hard to follow everything. F.e. I can't find your star background anywhere

I wish you had added a voiceover. It's hard to follow everything. F.e. I can't find your star background anywhere Click the cogwheel in the YT video frame and select slower playback speed The star background is similar as you are using : your studio background but instead it's a video or animated gif

I can't add the graphics tv frame to individual photo. When I'm trying to resize the photo to fit into a tv frame the frame gets resizes at the same time (becomes smaller).
What's wrong?
