After about a year of using vMix w/FB, we got logged out and can't log back in.

The error we see is

App Not Setup

This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.

And this appears to be with the vMix Cloud app.

I've just now experienced this error as well, after streaming to facebook with Vmix for more than 1 year. Pretty much 24/7. Scanner feed. Nothing changed in my system or configuration, just out of the blue when i went to restart my facebook stream i'm unable to log in and get the same message. Vmix 24.

At this moment I don't know what is worse, if the fact of not being able to do automatic transmissions on facebook or that none of the uploaded videos appear. plop!

The latter as one can always go manual to FB (as mentioned on the status page;-)

That doesn’t explain why the past 2 years of streamed services and events are gone. If Facebook was going to start removing our stuff, they should have sent notice so people could download and save.

Same here, 2 years of events, about 120 I'd guess just disappeared. I have noticed that the FB insights still has all the stats though. So I guess we all will just have to wait to see whether Facebook decides to even respond to vMix.

Same issue - Can't stream from VMix to facebook and 100+ videos missing on Facebook (those that had been streamed to FB from VMix). I've reported to FB and hope VMix Team can also escalate this issue - as I'm more worried now about getting content back!! Thanks, John.

We have been streaming each weekend for two years with no issues. Last night, we tried to start streaming with Facebook and got different messages.

One message said, "App not set up"

Yet when I went into our facebook page, Vmix was listed in the apps

I found a thread on the forum here that said to delete the app and try logging in again. We tried that and get the same message. Now we can't figure
out where to add the app in facebook or how

We could really use some expertise in getting us going again. Thanks

PS; We did nothing in the settings to cause this.

Everyone needs to send problem reports to Facebook. Enough that they realize the number of people they impacted with this.

This is Facebook’s doing. Everyone that streams using vmix facebook destination has been effected. We had been streaming for more than 2 years.. everything we streamed with vmix is now gone from our page. Send a problem report to Facebook. I doubt they will reply. But hopefully if enough people report it, they will fix it.

Hi Everyone,
Also already mentioned above, make sure to check our Service Status page in regards to the facebook streaming issue which explains it:
https://status.vmix.com/

In the meantime, users can stream manually to Facebook via Custom RTMP Server using the instructions below:

https://www.vmix.com/knowledgebase/article.aspx/272/streaming-to-facebook-live-manually-using-custom-rtmp-server

Updates will be provided on our service status page as we receive them.

Any old live streams on your Facebook page that have disappeared may have expired as this seems to be something Facebook are doing now. But do note this is done by Facebook and not related to vMix at all.

out of jokes... this will be fixed, obviously, but realy anoying also.

cheers,

melody

Not really true. Only livestreams via vmix have been deleted. All of our webcam live videos are still there. Hope you find a solution.

Agreed - only my livestreams via VMix have been deleted. Other webcam/direct livestreams (older & newer) are still there. I've received no response from Facebook on my problem report. Appreciate all you can do to help escalate.
