I think the only issue is the use of a Quad 2 card which will require 8 pcie lanes and thunderbolt only provides for 4. You would probably be better off getting two Duo 2 cards.

BTW, where can you find the Beast Canyon NUC 11?

they have the NUC 11 Beast Canyon with RTX3060, 1TB storage and 16gb Ram for 2K on https://www.newegg.com/ABS-ALI589/p/83-360-224

B&H has the NUC 11 Beast Canyon without a GPU, SSD or Ram for $1200, but I can't find any graphics cards.

Thanks for the info. When I was looking to buy the Nuc 11, either no one had in stock or it was available but no graphic card was available. I bought Laptops instead. I still have 2 or the original Skull canyons in use.

BTW, I use the Duo 2 card in a Sonnet SE 1 which gives me 4 inputs. If I need more inputs I daisy chain 2 of them. That works for me and has the advantage of splitting them across multiple systems if I only need four SDI connections.

Thunderbolt 4 is quite bandwidth limited with respect to PCIe.

Rather counterintuitively, Thunderbolt 3 is vastly preferable for used with eVGA and PCIe enclosures.

With only 1 PCIe lane available, it may not be suitable for use with a capture card.
