Sure would be handy (if implemented)

But so far it seems all presented use case scenarios can be achieved by scripting

This has been requested before and alternative solutions have been offered – if you understand XAML etc, however I still think there is a strong case for considering this to help make it work in a simple way.

I have a Google-Sheets document, which I would like to use to trigger events in vMix. I don’t necessarily want it to trigger title displays, however, using a dummy title to receive the data and then trigger something else, would be very useful.

If the trigger could apply to a change in any element of the title it was connected with, that would be perfect, as I could then use a change of data in the spreadsheet to make something happen in vMix.

Many thanks,
Giles.

WHy still doing a +1 when it is allready possible ???

A script can read the value within a title , hence one can check a change of data (content)

Please do not willy nilly do a plus one without a proper search before

I'll +1 this, and I've literally written and posted scripts that not only scrapes a title for the contents, but maintain a log of the last scrape through loops to compare and verify if the data changed.

As you yourself said, it'd make things considerably more convenient. That's the use case.

I'm all for that.
