Hi,
last week I experienced a big problem with vMix Pro 24.0.0.72.
I ran a show with active recorder, one active stream and an active multicorder for 3 input capture channels. All running 1080p50.
I messed up my multicorder settings a little bit, so the 1TB SSD that was only used for the multicorder (recorder had another disc) ran out of space after a few hours.
In itself this wouldn't be a problem, but the error message reappeared every few seconds, making VMix unusable.
I've recorded a 'screen capture' of the problem, you can find it here hidden on youtube:
Youtube video of the problemPlease excuse the cruel video, I was a little bit stressed so I used my mobile phone.
It constantly opens new popups with messages like "There is not enough space left on disk" (both in german and in english), "recording has stopped unexpectedly" and "could not start/stop multicorder" and so on.
I tried to stop the multicorder with the button in the bottom row, but it did not stop. I held enter to cancel all the error messages and managed to open the multicorder options, but the stop button did not work.
Also I tried to free disk space by moving the big files to another disk, but this failed because vMix had the file still opened. Windows could not move /delete the file because of this.
It wasn't possible for me to stop the multicorder, so I had to restart vMix during the show, stopping my livestream and the still working recorder for ~30s. Of course this is not really acceptable for a professional production.
Additional to that the force quit of vMix broke the recorded file (.mp4), but I managed to repair this file.
Has someone else experienced this problem? Maybe there is a workaround that I didn't know of?
In any case in my opinion this is a problem that needs investigation by the developers.
Just ask if I can provide more informations.
Greetings
Dragon
