Hi all, we have been noticing our GPU has crept up to 100% in vMix - despite closing lots of unused inputs and we don't use any web links inside. "High Input Performance Mode" is ticked, too.

Currently, our GFX card is 1660/6gb with an i9 processor.

We are looking to upgrade the graphics card to 3060/12gb.

Before we proceed I just wanted to pick the brains trust as to whether it will resolve our issue. We use a Black Magic 4 HDMI input card as well.

The issue we have is when the GPU on vMix gets to about 95%, the output starts to drop frames and stutter badly. However when we look at the computers overall GPU, it's not at 95%. Much much lower (41%) for the entire computer. So we are a bit confused.

Cheers.

Check that you have turned on "High Input Performance Mode".

Put as many video inputs, and images, into lists as you can.

Also double check you are using the NVidia graphics card not the integrated GPU

Note you also have to update your mobo's bios and not all boards support resizable bar.
