NONE of them

Datasources are files that have some type of list/table structure which an image is not
A data source (list) can have references to images stored somewhere else

That is what you are missing : the understanding between a list and an image so of course one can not make it work (if one knows what you would be trying to do then ....)

BTW :
thanks 1 user thanked doggy for this useful post.

If your title includes an image field, this can also be assigned to a data source. - This is what i want to do.

The data source text data must be either a full URL or file path in order to load correctly.

For example

http://www.example.com/image.jpg

c:\images\logo.png

So how do i assign an image to a title using data source? does my excel spread sheet need to somehow point to a URL of an image online?

BTW why another post if you didn't fully understand the answers in your previous one ? https://forums.vmix.com/...20-JPGs-as-a-Data-source

You quote exactly what is written in the helpfiles being the data in your table must contain the full external or local link as per your example ( YES your excel sheet needs to point to it)

You connect the data to the title be it text or the link to the image .of course the title needs to have an image holder instead of a text holder for this to work

You can simplify this however ( as mentioned in your other post !) by having just the name of the file in your datasource and use the format to add the location et
