I have inherited a setup of 2 PTZ optics cameras, that are connected via HDMI to an epiphan capture card to USB. I would like to use an xBox as a joystick to control these. My PC and vMix sees the controller and I've added the shortcut template for the xbox. However I have zero control using the xbox controller . I've read and watched videos and I simply can't find what I'm doing wrong. The only difference I see is the capture card. Could that be what's holding me up?

You will need vMix 4K or vMix Pro to control PTZ cameras. What package do you have?

(Also in Alabama) We are on 4K version 24.0.0.62 64bit. Also if it helps the cameras are connected HDMI to capture card to the PC. The capture card is Epiphan Avio 4k and cameras are PTXoptics 20 and 30x.

Have you tried setting the cameras up on a LAN? We use ours all going into a network switch and into a PTZ controller. It might be that vMix requires the network connection also to talk to the cameras (if you haven't tried this already)
