We just updated to vMix 24.0.0.52 and the Bus B ASIO output set to 3+4 is sending to ASIO output 1+2 A bus is set to output ASIO 1+2 B bus is set to output ASIO 3+4 when we play out a clip on Bus B it is heard via ASIO 1+2. Focusrite control settings have not changed...only the software of vMix to latest release version was changed. WSN-vMix-settings.jpg (1,840kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Are you sure it's only routed to B and not master since your master is also on 1+2?

yes - with master off B was still going to A.
Had to reinstall the Focusrite software and reboot the machine a few times.
vMix is working now as it was but the Focusrite device drops out unexpectedly during a live stream/record. The whole 1+2 device disappears from the vMix GUI and we have to re-add the Audio Input to the project.

Have you tried wiggling the USB cable and see if you can reproduce the issue. The device dropping out is usually a cable/USB input/output issue. Also make sure you disable power management on the USB.

we tried the cable first... replaced with brand new one and made sure it was secured but the drop out persists.
vMix acknowledged there is an issue with the Windows Default audio setup vs. ASIO setting where they said to NOT have the ASIO device set as the default in windows. Was in a support article from vMix. But this has also had no effect.

So here is our setup and it's solid with 2 focurites in V24.
Master: Windows default Headphones: Computer onboard audio output BUS C: Focusrite 1+2 BUS D: Focusrite 3+4
Any reason you are sending both master and bus to the same focusrite output?

Just an update - this issue was never solved and may creep up again in a later release of vMix.
The Master 1+2 send is primarily used for the stream output and the Bus A 1+2 send is for monitoring. In most studio situations you need multiple "Main" outputs as well as the use of a Distribution Amp so that monitoring can be sent to multiple destinations - and/or for mix minus on IFB systems.
We ultimately switched to the recommended Behringer UMC interface so that all of the Bus control could be assigned differently with ASIO.
