Hi, I've been using vMix Call to bring remote guests into productions but, almost inevitably, some guests and clients are now asking whether it's possible to do automatic background removal/replacement in the same way that Zoom/Teams/etc offer. I realise that I could just use Zoom/Teams/etc instead, but vMix Call integrates nicely into productions, so I've been searching online to see what third-party tools exist to do the background removal... I found a couple of posts where people are trying to use TouchDesigner to do face tracking/edge detection to do something similar, but it's little but too DIY for me. I found another app - https://manycam.com/ - which supports multiple NDI inputs and generates an NDI output, so would be nice and easy to integrate with vMix, but the results aren't as good as I was hoping (very noisy edges, few frames of delay). So, I was wondering whether the vMix community have any tips for other tried/tested/rejected solutions out there - I'm grateful for any suggestions! Thanks, Matthew

Hi Matthew,
I have been using xsplit cam which works well and fairly clean edges but does depend on the quality of your feed into it. I have taken Vmix Calls out as vmix camera feed or use NDI with newtek ndi input tools, the xsplit cam output can then be brought back into vmix as a camera video input.

https://obs.ninja just added greenscreen and blur. Haven't tested it with a good camera yet but it looked promising.
