Please make sure you have selected an audio source in the recording setup window.
I have tested this and the audio is working...

Yes, most sound cards only support selecting an audio device input once.

If you want more, you could try something like the Virtual Audio Cable.

Hi Melody,

As mentioned it has been tested and is working.
You will need to make sure the device used when setting up the recording is not used by any other programs.

(Note that this is a per-device, not a per input limitation, For example you cannot record both from the Stereo Mix and the Line Input at the same time with many built in sound cards.)

Martin

i tested to record in *.avi using lagarith and the sound was recorded sucessfull with the same device selected to record with *.mpg

last recording, i used the audio input device from pixelview play tv xtreme (http://www.pixelview.com.br/placa_pixelview_playtv_xtreme.asp) and mpeg-2 still doesn`t recorded the sound.

however, as i said before, i am recording the sound to a second pc. my audio mixer is peavey 32fx and it have usb support to record audio from. i will try to test another options here to see if i can find a solution.

regards,
melody

Hi Melody,

Could you post a screenshot of the settings used in the MPEG-2 Recording Setup window?

Thanks,

tested and woking... problem solved.

maybe would be good idea to disable 96000khz at mpeg-2 recording to avoid audio problems, that was my problem...

thank you martin for support.

update: 44100hz and 48000hz working fine.
