Multiple sound outputs over USB?

Hi, I keep finding myself in situations where multiple 3.5mm audio inputs/outputs are needed to route different busses to. Can anyone recommend a USB device which can handle 4 or 5 audio inputs and outputs? So I can map several audio buses to it and equally add several audio inputs from it? Kind of like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk...ws-AU-MMSA/dp/B00IRVQ0F8But with multiple ins/outs. The key is that I do not need a splitter/signal duplicator - I need to assign a separate vMix audio bus to each port. Is this even technically possible? Thanks :)

I use the MIDAS MR18 console to do this. It has 18 inputs which can be either XLR or USB and 6 AUX which also can be used via XLR or USB. Perfect solution to handle ins and outs with vMix.
A slightly cheaper model is the Behringer XR18 which has the exact same features but cheaper preamps and connectors.

yes, 16 in and 16 out (given you install Behringer's USB driver ASIO)

The usb connection exposes each channel from the console as inputs or outputs (in audio settings) So you can input any channel or aux or main mix or a combination of them in vMix And you can configure any of the vMix busses + master and phones outputs to any input in the console. 18 actually, 16 mono + 1 stereo

We use the FocusRite Scarlett 18i20 (3rd Gen) for this use case. Works well for simultaneous in and outs - except we are seeing something a little weird which I suspect is linked to the FocusRite and that is that audio delays seem to drift around by up to a few frames. I've never seen drifting audio sync before.

Hi, Just wanted to chime in here. I am attempting to use M Audio air 192 8 and the result is terrible. Are you guys getting clicks and pops with your usb interface?
