We are considering installing VMIX on an HP Z4G4 Workstation with Xeon W2255 3.7GHz 10C, 64GB DDR4 2933 ECC REG, Quadro RTX4000 8GB 3DP + 1USBC, HP Z Turbo Drive M.2 512GB TLC SSD, 2x 4TB 7200 SATA Enterpise, 1x Blackmagic Decklink Quad HDMI recorder and 1 x Blackmagic Decklink Duo 2.
We want to use the equipment, to manage with VMIX the audiovisual signals of a small press room where there will be 3 x 4K @ 30 PTZ cameras with NDI / HX, up to 2 laptop PCs, 1 PC for videoconferencing and 2 large 4K monitors on stage .
Will this setup support working in 4K (2160p) @ 30Hz resolution throughout the mix? Is it possible to mix in VMIX in 1080p @ 60p resolution and configure 2 Full Screen outputs at 4K @ 30p for the monitors?
If we want to increase by 1 or 2 external physical outputs, is it better to add internal cards such as Blacmagic Decklink Mini Monitor or another internal Nvidia card or an external card by BUS Thunderbold?
