Hey all, I'm running vmix (latest version - trial [64 bit]).
I've got 2 webcams (split screen) and am recording a section of my desktop too.

It works fantastic the output is exactly what I want (a little large, but I can convert it).

The problem I have is the damn thing keeps randomly stopping. Silently. No error, no warning, it just stops, and I lose entire chunks of my recordings.

My Computer is an Asus Laptop A53E

i5 (2.3ghz)
8gb of Ram
Intel HD Graphics 3000

Windows 8 Pro, fully updated.

Hi,

vMix requires a minimum of the Intel HD 4000 or a dedicated nvidia or AMD card.

There is a known bug in the Intel HD 3000 drivers that causes everything to stop periodically.
You can try downloading and installing the latest drivers from Intel's site but last I checked only the 4000 and newer had been fixed.

Regards,

Martin

Thanks so much for the quick reply (you've saved me hours of pain with that knowledge).

Sounds like I need a laptop upgrade - are there any recommended laptops for vMix (ones you know are rock solid?).

Thanks!
