Would lowering this help to say 41 vmix.jpg (61kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

You might wanna start by checking that you are sending 48 Khz from OBS. If the source is 44 Khz and receiver expect 48 Khz that typically creates glitches.

In Windows that's done outside vMix in the Control panel/Sounds.
