Hi,
we have several VMIX machines with different licenses. On one machine I have an issue where VMIX won't close. Everytime I try to close VMIX it crashes and I have to force the shutdown of VMIX by going to the task-manager.
This is very annoying because everytime when I change a setting and VMIX wants to restart beacuse of that it crashes. I did a clomplete reinstall of VMIX (23.0.0.67) but no change. STill crashing on closing VMIX.
The funny thing is that we have a second machine with the exact same hardware and it doesn't show this behaviour there.
Any idea what I could do?
Thanks
pro.

Close each input one by one to see what the faulty input is.

Hi,
sorry but that doesn't work because it even crashes when I open VMIX without loading any preset and close it again.
So the inputs shouldn't be the problem.

Could not resolve this issue so I wiped the complete hard disk and restored an image that I had done 2 weeks ago. Now it is working again.

Just if anyone has a similar issue: I found the cause.
It was an old midi driver. I have an old midisport 1x1 USB midi interface connected to this PC. It worked so far with VMIX. But the only issue is that VMIX can't be closed anymore without a crash. After I deinstalled this midi interface and used a simple new one from Amazon (15€) it works again without any crash.
Cheers
