I have been using VMix with 1 NDI feed from a PTZ Optics camera with no problems. Last week my render times went like one person said through the roof. sometimes 200ms or more.I have a MSI GL63 with a GTX 1050 32 gigs of ram. We use Power Point presentations, some basic overlays from gt graphics, audio from our soundboard and once in awhile we will show a video clip. like i said earlier i have not had any problems running this configuration before. we were at 1080 and i have tried multiple resolution's to get the render times down with some luck at low resolution's but the video is very bad. Any ideas?

I'm thinking if I need to invest in a desktop would this be good?

Use Task Manager to find out what other programs or processes are running in the background when using vMix.

What CPU is in your MSI GL63?

I checked and nothing is running that would use the gpu enough to cause the high render times that I have. The cpu is an i7, can’t remember the model#, I’ll have to look it up.

I’ve looked at these and still can not figure it out. Even closing all my inputs and only having the 2 that are there all the time, I still have render times in the 30-40ms. Sometimes jumping into the low 100s.
