You can also present online (see the ribbon in powerpoint) and use the webpage input in vmix to show the presentation. This way you need only one call and keep the powerpoint controö to the presenter.

Sometimes WebRTC it hangs on Windows.
It happens when we disconnect, reconnect, close/open...
When it happens, no more browsers works: Chrome, Firefox...
It is as if the WebRTC resource were "locked" from something (I think the browser).
No camera detected from browser (more installed), no audio detected, no advice to use this or other camera, NOTHING.
Sometimes we need to restart the browser, sometimes we need to restart the windows session, sometimes restart the whole PC.
When it happpens, "real" apps works: Skype, Virtualdub, many and many DirectX or VfW software.
Then: how about create a simple app like "Desktop capture" but for Vcall?
100-200kB to download and use Vcall via VfW o DirectX.
Who wants to use browser via WebRTC it's free to do it.
Who wants a real app, downloads the app.
Just my 2 cents.

Only thing you could argue is that, as presentation is sent to tech crew location, client cant make last second changes (not that they ever would !) Also - some might be less inclined - if sensitive or copyrighted material.

Good afternoon,
The new applications are very good, but I have a suggestion for the screen sharing button.
In this time of Pandemic, I hold webinars and conferences via streaming, in which the presenter wants to use his power point from his home, and I can also have his camera.
Can it happen that when I share the screen I do not exchange by camera but add one more video as an auxiliary?

This is great!
Are there any thought to having a caller management page? The ability for someone to manage callers and even communicate with them in an "offline" fashion would be useful. Admittedly this is more involved than the current use case but could be an upgrade option. Just a thought.

Anyone experiencing volume problems using vMixCall beta with Chrome on Android (Samsung Galaxy S9+)?
We're seeing 30db level drop between vMixCall and vMixCall beta. Beta is lower. All other factors the same, even with the same vMixCall host session. All audio settings at default for beta and non-beta. Non-beta audio levels are fine.
Have all vMixcall beta client settings unticked. But same problem if ticked.
Not a problem when connected to Windows 10/Chrome clients.

Looks like beta vMixCall level problem on Andriod phone is related to echo cancelation setting only. See my previous post on this topic.
Echo cancelation set (checked) = distortion on polyphonic musical audio like guitar (not so obvious on voice only)
Echo cancelation not set (unchecked) = 30db level attenuation

Why has this beta seem to have gone dormant?? Also some basic features like checking the browser should be in this product. For example if someone opens in the link in Internet Explorer they should be prompted that it is an incompatible browser rather then just having a black screen.

The vMix Call Beta web site has now been released as https://advanced.vmixcall.com/This is essentially the same as the previous beta, with some extra browser checking to warn guests using unsupported browsers such as Internet Explorer. Best we can tell the other issues reported in this thread are mainly due to browser quirks / issues and not problems we can resolve as it relies on the browsers functionality for all aspects of camera, audio and screen sharing. However, if you do see web site specific issues, such as buttons not working correctly etc, please let us know in this thread. Regards, Martin vMix

Is the incoming call quality still 720p?
Is there a way for you to make an SRT handshake for less technical people? I need to send cameras to peoples homes. If they connect a 4K unit via USB, could they select that in vMix Call at 4K, then you wrap it as SRT instead of WebRT?

This is a much need feature and its great that it has come along.
but just asking for more contorl, in the sense if both the screen share and the Camera can be received in the feed.
so we can do more with the production.

Hi. The call is working on safari, but the desktop sharing doesn't work. The symbol toggels from red to green, but no options are shown. Any idea?

I tried connecting a professional video camera to the phone. In the settings it recognizes me usb audio input, the video does not.
You can help me?
