IF a user's custom file exists FFMPEG uses it ELSE FFMPEG uses settings defined via the GUI END IF +1 With the option of having an option file for streaming and another for recording.

A custom config for stream, record and multicoder. Even though i understand why DWAM proposed the custom file with no config as it would be a behind the scenes update not confusing or requiring GUI work i feel as long as its under the Advanced checkbox or if its under a advanced tab on the format window would keep to his design model and look. but by all means if we can get it sooner as just a file behind the scn4es i'm all game! Make it happen. The mob has spoken :)

well - is this being heard? Controlling NVenc in Streaming would be a great help, with one way or the other.
I don't really want to fuss around with external solutions.. Would be great to hear from Vmix guys if and why this poses a problem as this thread is kind of antique.
