Lukas Herzog from Mainz, Germany raised a question at YouTube's community forum about frame duplication on youtube when streaming 25/50p, which is very annoying from a PAL perspective and was discussed a few weeks ago in this vMix forum too. Perhaps you could vote it up a little and if someone has a more direct route to the YouTube support could raise it there as well? Here's the link to add your +1 https://support.google.c...be/thread/83656186?hl=enGuillaume, aka DWAM, on behalf of Lukas

Done. I also never figured out why youtube saves the VOD of streams at 30p for me (and some others) while some other channels seem to be forced to 30p for the live but their VODs are at 25p. Hopefully if they fix the stream framerate it will sort out the VODs as well.

Upvoted, but you should change 60Hz to 50Hz in the description.
"Streaming in 30 or 60 often is not an option since many countries have a mains frequency of 60 Hz and you'll get light flicker issues when doing 30 or 60p."
60Hz and 30/60p will not generate flicker, 50Hz and 30/60p or 60Hz and 25/50p will.

I have upvoted too. Actually, I posted on the community site as well, before I found yours here.
This is annoying. If VOD then Youtube enc at the video rate, 25, 30, 50 or 60etc. But Live is only 30 or 60, resulting in jumpy stream. Why won't they listen ?
If anyone has a workaround, it would be great. I tried streaming at 60, but as the camera input is 50, letting vmix do the conversion, but the jumpy frames were worse.
