I have a laptop that only runs vMix and only use it to stream to Facebook. If I'm only watching the stream in vMix by the IP camera, everything is fine. If I watch the IP camera stream and FB,then I get a high CPU warning. The laptop has a Ryzen 3200U,8gb ram and vega 3 graphics. I'm running the stream at 1080p.

I thought that the Laptop would have been fine, but now I'm wondering if I should look into another laptop or a PC build. Unless, there is a setting that I'm missing. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

vMix is optimized for NVDIA graphics, whereas AMD Radeon is not recommended.

The Ryzen 3200U is not a very robust CPU. If all is fine without watching the IP camera stream and Facebook, then it would be best to do that.

That's what I do. I start the stream and then view FB to make sure things are ok,then stop the FB stream. Got any suggestions on a Laptop/Desktop that would work? I have seen the guide for various builds, but I'm wondering if they would be more than I need since I'm only doing one 1080p stream and watching the FB stream.

If I can find a Laptop or SFF PC that would work for the Church, then that would be great.

Your VMix computer should be 100% dedicated to VMix. Most of the streaming platforms are buggy and will grind computers to a halt while VMix is running.
