I have tried to make vMix call work on both the latest version of Safari and Chrome.

All I get it a blue screen every time. Very annoying.

Please can someone help?

Stop trying to use Chrome. It’s not supported on iOS. Reboot the computer and go back to Safari.

It does not work on Safari either. Running latest version and tested on two Macs.

Hi
there are many test-pages
https://webrtc.github.io...nt/devices/input-output/
https://webrtchacks.gith...ebRTC-Camera-Resolution/

are they working?
It high recommended, that you allow access to your microphone and camera!

Yes they are all working but they dont get through to vmix. Nor does Vmix's image come back to us.

Have you enabled peer-to-peer connection in vMix?
Try to deactivate the peer-to-peer once.
I've had this problem before.

The title of the thread "vMix Call Not Working On iOS" says you are trying to connect via iPhone/iPad. That's confusing. Can you please confirm one or the other? And then make sure that:

- On iPhone/iPad you use Safari for vMix Call (No Chrome or Firefox!)
- On Macs you use Chrome or Firefox for vMix Call (No Safari!)

No there has been no mention of connecting on a phone or smart device.

There is so much conflicting information on this site. Some people say it only works on safari some say only on chrome.

This is what we have tried so far.

1) Attempting to connect to vmix call on three separate macs running the latest iOs.
2) All attempts have been tried on safari and chrome.
3) None have connected even using advanced settings.

The advanced settings mentioned here https://www.vmix.com/hel...ex.htm?vMixCallMenu.html are now viewable on our version of vmix. I think the call has to connect first.

Hi Tom,

Apologies for the confusion, you will need to update vMix to the latest version in order to see these options
and to connect to the latest iOS versions:

Hi martin,

Great to hear from you.

We are using a streaming machine all built in like Vmix Go.

It says it has lifetime free updates.

How do we then upgrade to vmix 23 please?

To be clear though why is this not working currently. Surely Vmix Call should be able to take calls coming in from Safari?

But it is asking for money. We are meant to have lifetime updates.

If the system has an authentic vMix Go license it will install without requiring paying extra.
If you are not sure you can check the license here:
https://account.vmix.com/upgrade-check.aspx

If not then perhaps the system is an ACME Go or some other 3rd party system that does not qualify for free upgrades.

Thats annoying. Our's is streamstar not vmixgo.

So if we upgrade will that fix all these issues guaranteed? Surely they should have worked on version 21?

Nothing can be guaranteed, but if the upgrade does not work we can always offer a full refund.
