I got a scenario.
If a client wants to send me their own custom made title(s) to use for a production, what file format does it need to be in? I imagine it would be a png file if I'm not wrong? What if it has an animation?
Thank you!

static title yes as image is possible ( into a GT title)
with animation , probably best as a video and convert to an image sequence (or if they can send that even better) and put that in a GT title or as a image sequence input
all depends if text needs to be added/changed during production
Best imo is make the title based on the design partially images, partially GT graphics and text fields

Gotcha. I mean, I could technically import a .png file and size it up and assign it to an overlay, correct? For a static image..
But if they created an animation, they would have to save the file as a xml? I just want to clarify. Thanks again!

this is a very bad scenario imho (unless you want troubles)
ask your clients graphics elements like logos, presentation graphic charter including fonts, colors, etc... and create all the visuals yourself
