Hi, pls i need to send a Live mix Audio from MacBook to the live streaming pc.
I have Vmix Desktop capture on my MacBook but I'm not receiving any Audio on vmix pc under NDI input.
Pls help.

Question 2.
How do i get good Audio level on my streaming platform ie.Faceebook/ Youtube, without Clipping on my Vmix Audio capture?.

Try using the audio compressor on the master output. Its the the gear on the master in the audio mixer. 2-3:1 ratio Threshold -18 maybe -24,
Then in "general" add 6db of gain. basically you want to reduce some dynamic range so you can make the average level louder.
Some VST plugin compressors may do this better.

To make it easier for future people to find the help, this is what that page says:

In order to send the system audio from a Mac system running vMix Desktop Capture for NDI (that is the audio of any programs such as web browsers video players etc), a 3rd party audio driver needs to be installed from the below web site:

Once installed the Soundflower driver will need to be selected as both the Sound Output and Sound Input devices in OSX Sound Preferences.

The output will route all of the systems audio to Soundflower and the Input will be used by vMix Desktop Capture to send the audio.


vMix staff should really add this to the relevant page on Desktop Capture.

If Soundflower doesn't work, BlackHole may be another option.
