I’m doing remote live-streaming with a Teradek VidiuGo and am trying to figure out how to get the signal out (including audio) of vmix on my laptop to the VidiuGo unit.

Can I use my HDMI out to go directly to the VidiuGo or do I need some sort of external card?

That is basically possible, it is mentioned as one of the possibilites for the Full Screen output in Tim's video:

Totally understand that part — but not sure how to get the audio to output as well? Will it go with the full screen output or do I need to set that up separately?

When you plugin your device to the HDMI output, there will appear a new audio output in Windows, and thus in vMix. You have to select it as Master in Settings, Audio Outputs.
