How to reproduce:
- Create an input ("A") for an IP camera - Create an input ("B") for a different IP camera - Create an input ("Both") with "A" and "B" inputs added via MultiView - Adjust the cropping for "A" and "B" in "Both" via Position - Create an input ("C") with "Both" added via MultiView
Input "C" will not retain the crop settings from "Both". But if "A" and "B" are cropped in their own Main settings, then those crop settings carry through to "C".

Take a look at the screenshot below. I've created a setup as you describe and the custom cropping in Both is displayed in C. admin attached the following image(s): crop.png (115kb) downloaded 40 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

Martin, I'm still able to reproduce the issue. I'll send you a screenshot.

Hello,
I am having this same problem now in vMix 4K - 23.0.0.59 x64.
To recap, I've created multiple sources with an overlay, put those sources into another source via multiview, and the crop settings from the original source overlay are not transferring to the new source... Same as the OP in this thread.
Is there a fix for this?
Thank you! Mike

Hi Mike,
The issue reported in this thread is a different issue that was resolved a few years back.
What you appear to be reporting is how cropping in vMix works, it will only crop the actual layer of that input and not any sub inputs underneath it. This is done for performance reasons and there is no way around this at this time other than to crop each input at the source.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Regards,
Martin vMix Thank you, that's good information to have. I'll follow up with a separate thread for the issue I was trying to solve with this method. -Mike
